Somebody's grandfather had a drink cart, a record collection, and this coat. Tailored by Glover in all wool — deep burgundy body, black velvet collar and pocket trim, gold piping tracing every edge. Double-breasted with mother-of-pearl buttons. The back has a gathered panel falling from a half-belt at the waist, and the hem vents carry cream tasseled fringe. Full length, nearly to the ankle. This is not a bathrobe. This is the garment you wore when the evening required you to be both comfortable and in command of the room.
