Somewhere around 1990, J.B. Browne built this cardigan out of a geometry textbook and a desert sunset. Open-front, no closures, no fuss — just heavy knit in navy, slate blue, and cream arranged in bands of stepped diamonds and horizontal stripes that read more Navajo blanket than department store sweater. The kind of thing you throw on over everything from October through March and forget to take off.
