Dark indigo that never got the chance to fade much — the rinse is still deep, the leg still has that clean taper from a high waist down to a trim ankle. Lee built these for everyday, and everyday is exactly where they look best: with a tucked tee, with a belt sitting up where the waist actually is.
The Story
That little brass shank button with the star and "1889" is Lee's nod to the year the company started in Salina, Kansas, as a workwear outfit before it ever made a pair of jeans. The lazy-S stitch on the back pockets and the small woven Lee tab are the brand's own signatures — read them like a maker's mark.
