The Story

Panatela was Levi's 1970s sportswear gambit — slacks, blazers and sport coats in textured polyester, marketed with the line that “legs were made to be fitted,” Levi's answer to the disco-era menswear it didn't want to cede to anyone. The label here pairs the red Levi's batwing with the green Panatela script over a white-tab back pocket: a denim house dressed for Saturday night. By the early 80s the line was still running; this flared, contrast-stitched cut sits at its 70s heart.
