This is a heavyweight cotton flannel western shirt in a burgundy, black, and cream plaid with all the hallmarks — pearl snap buttons down the front, pearl snaps on both chest pocket flaps, pearl snaps at the pointed western cuffs. The plaid has that slightly slubby, textured weave that reads honest. Not fashion flannel. Work flannel.

The label tells you everything: Lot 586-99, Neck 17.5, Sleeve 34.5, XL, 100% cotton, made in U.S.A. This is the kind of data-rich vintage label that doesn't exist anymore. The shirt fits like a proper western cut — long body, angled snap placket, slightly tapered through the torso.

Condition

Good vintage condition. Flannel has a nicely broken-in softness. All pearl snaps functional. Light wash fade consistent with age and use — gives it character rather than damage. No holes or tears. Some very light fraying at one cuff edge. This shirt has been worn and it wears well.
