This is the jean rodeo runs on. Medium indigo broken in across the thighs and behind the knees — honest fade from actually being worn, not sandblasted in a factory. The leather patch has gone soft and amber, the gold "W" runs across the back pockets, and the higher rise sits where a cowboy needs it: high enough to stay put in the saddle.
The Story
The 13MWZ is the original Cowboy Cut, introduced in 1947 after Philadelphia tailor Bernard "Rodeo Ben" Lichtenstein cut thirteen patterns to get it right — flat rivets that won't scratch a saddle, a high back rise for the seat, seven belt loops instead of five. It's still the official ProRodeo competition jean. This one is Made in USA, 100% cotton, worn the way it was built to be.
